Reflection

If given the opportunity to redesign our survey, I would have added another question assessing respondents' alignment with natural resources typologies. The question we used to determine typologies provided a general indicator, but more detailed information would have been useful when analyzing the data. If possible, I also would have distributed the survey to a larger, more regionally diverse sample population to gain better data about how region correlates with awareness for oyster shell recycling. Overall, I would have also chosen a broader issue since it was difficult to find studies on the human dimensions of oyster shell recycling. For instance, studying food waste mitigation or coastal restoration would have been a similar topic with more literature about people's opinions and attitudes.
